Privacy Policy

The short version

SkillAIVibe has no visitor accounts and does not upload your playground code, learning progress, saved items or text typed into the search field. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page visits and real-user performance without cookies. Google Analytics is not active in this build; when configured, it loads only after explicit consent.

Who is responsible

SkillAIVibe is written and run by one independent person. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to contact@skillaivibe.com. This policy describes the site's actual implementation and is not personal legal advice.

Information handled without Analytics

The hosting provider delivers the website and, as any host must, processes technical request information such as IP address, requested URL, timestamps and browser headers under its own terms while serving each page. SkillAIVibe does not maintain an account database or add a server-side visitor profile.

If you email the contact address, the message, your address and anything you include are processed only to read and answer it. Do not send passwords, financial information or identity documents.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics is active to provide aggregate page-view, referrer, browser, country and real-user performance reports. Cloudflare injects its performance beacon when serving eligible pages and receives the measurement through this domain's /cdn-cgi/rum endpoint. It does not use cookies, create a cross-site advertising profile. The site does not add playground code, saved progress, contact messages or search-field values to those measurements. Cloudflare describes this service as privacy-first and states that it does not collect or use visitors' personal data for Web Analytics. See Cloudflare's Web Analytics information.

Google Analytics, only with consent

If Analytics is configured and you select Accept analytics, the Google tag can process page URL and title, referrer, session interactions, browser and device characteristics, language, and approximate geographic information derived from the network request. SkillAIVibe uses the resulting aggregate reports to understand which lessons are useful, find navigation problems and decide what to improve.

The tag is blocked before consent. Rejecting Analytics sends no Analytics request and changes no feature. The implementation does not send playground code, saved progress, email addresses, names, or exact text entered into site search. Advertising events, remarketing audiences and personalized ads are not enabled by this integration.

Consent is the basis for this optional processing where consent is required. Google processes Analytics data as a separate service provider under its own terms, and processing may occur outside your country. Read Google's Privacy Policy and its Analytics privacy information.

Your choices

Google Analytics is not active in this build, so there is nothing to accept or reject; if it is ever activated, an Analytics settings control will appear on every page first.Global Privacy Control is treated as rejection when you have not already chosen. Browser settings can delete local storage and Analytics cookies. You may also use browser blocking tools or Google's opt-out tooling.

Information kept only in your browser

Saved items, lesson completion, exercise and practice code, attempts and streak information are stored in local storage on your device. They are not transmitted to SkillAIVibe or included in Analytics events. The Progress page lets you export, import or reset this information.

Search matching happens in your browser and typing in the search field does not change the URL. The site also supports links such as /search?q=python. Opening a URL that contains a search term sends that URL to the host as an ordinary page request; page URLs can also be included in analytics when enabled. Local search does not make information placed in a URL private.

Programming runtimes and grading execute locally inside the browser sandbox. The site's own runtime files may remain in the normal browser cache for performance, and a service worker keeps versioned site assets and compiler runtime files in your browser's Cache Storage so repeat visits need fewer downloads. Learner code is not included in that cache and is not sent to a remote execution service.

Retention and security

Local learning information remains until you remove it. Contact email is retained only as long as reasonably needed to answer and handle the subject of the message. If Google Analytics is activated, its retention should be set to the shortest useful period.

HTTPS, a restrictive Content Security Policy and a network-isolated code sandbox reduce exposure. No system can promise absolute security, so data collection is deliberately limited.

Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal data, and to withdraw consent. Email the address above with enough information to understand the request. Withdrawing Analytics consent affects future collection; deleting cookies through your browser removes identifiers stored on that device. SkillAIVibe does not sell personal information.

Children and international visitors

The site is written for adults and older students and is not directed to young children. It does not invite children to create profiles or submit personal details. Visitors access the same consent choice regardless of country; local law may provide additional rights.

Third-party links and future changes

Links to AI products lead to third-party sites whose own policies apply. If advertising or another data use is introduced, this policy and the Cookie Policy will be updated before activation. Material changes will also be recorded on What's New.
