Our content and third-party material

SkillAIVibe develops learning content, examples, site design and application code for this platform. We claim rights only in material we created and in which copyright applies. Third-party software, fonts, product names and other materials retain their owners' rights and individual license terms.

Copyright generally protects eligible original expression, not the underlying facts, programming concepts, algorithms or methods. AI tools assist some research and drafting, as described in our Editorial Policy. We do not claim that every AI-assisted passage, short phrase or code pattern receives copyright protection in every country. See WIPO's copyright guidance for the distinction between ideas and protected expression. Written permission from us means permission in writing, by email, for rights we can grant.

How we treat other people's work

Our editorial standard is independent writing and examples developed for this platform. We use source links to check third-party facts and preserve license notices for software we distribute. Attribution does not itself grant permission to reuse someone else's work, and we do not treat a similarity scan as a guarantee of originality. Our Editorial Policy explains our review process and its limits.

What you can do without asking

We would rather people learn from this than tiptoe around it, so to be explicit — you are welcome to:

• Read, print, or save pages for your own learning or reference.
• Use anything you learn here in your own work, studies, or job. The ideas are yours to use — that is the point of the site.
• Use our prompt templates in your own AI tools, including at work. That is what they are for.
• Quote a short passage with clear attribution and a link back to the page you took it from.
• Link to any page here. You never need permission to link to us.
• Share a link with a class, a team, or a group chat, and discuss what a page says in your own words.

How to credit a quote

Keep the quoted part short and clearly marked as a quote, name SkillAIVibe as the source, and link to the exact page it came from rather than the homepage. A live link is what makes attribution useful, because it lets a reader check the quote in context. Please do not change the words inside a quotation and still present them as ours.

What we ask you not to do

• Republish our course text, articles, or definitions in full — whether on a website, in a PDF, in a newsletter, in a video script, or inside another course — without written permission.
• Present our writing as your own, or feed it through a spinner or paraphrasing tool to disguise its origin.
• Sell our content, or bundle it into a paid product.
• Translate a page and publish the translation without asking. Ask instead, and we will usually agree on terms that credit both of us.
• Copy the site's branding in a way that suggests we endorse or are affiliated with you.

If you want to do something not covered here — translate an article, use a lesson with a class, quote at length — just ask via the Contact page. The answer is often yes, and asking costs you nothing.

Using this site for classes and training

Teachers, trainers, and team leads are welcome to point people here. Linking to a lesson, setting it as reading, or discussing it in a session needs no permission from us. Copying a lesson into your own handbook or slide deck does — write to us, say what you would like to use and where, and we will answer plainly.

Automated copying and AI training

We would rather our writing were not scraped in bulk to be republished or resold, and bulk scraping is already something we ask you not to do in our Terms of Service. We are being straight with you about the limits of that request: a public website cannot technically prevent copying, and stating a preference is not the same as enforcing it. If you are building something and want to use this content properly, ask — a conversation is more likely to end well than a crawler.

The code you write here is yours

Anything you type into an editor in the Learn to Code section — in a playground, an exercise or a practice problem — belongs to you. It runs only in your browser, we never receive it, and we claim no rights in it. The starter code and reference solutions we provide are ours, and you may use, adapt and keep them for your own learning and your own projects without asking.

This permission covers examples and reference solutions developed for SkillAIVibe. An external snippet or third-party library remains under its own license. If you paste someone else's work into an editor, using this site does not transfer their rights to you.

Software and fonts this site is built on

The words on this site are ours, but the machinery underneath is not. SkillAIVibe is built with open-source software — the Next.js framework, the React library and the Tailwind CSS styling system, the CodeMirror editor, and the language runtimes that let code run in your browser: Pyodide (Python), the TypeScript compiler, a build of the OpenJDK Java compiler, and a clang toolchain for C++. The typefaces are open-source fonts served from this site rather than loaded from anyone else's server. Every one of these, with its version and licence, is listed on the open-source licenses page.

Those projects remain the property of their authors and are used under their own license terms. Saying we own the site's code means the code written specifically for SkillAIVibe, not the open-source work it sits on. We are grateful for it, and mentioning it here is the least we can do.

Third-party names and trademarks

Our AI Tools Directory refers to products and company names owned by other people. Those names and logos belong to their respective owners, and we use them only to identify and describe the products factually. Being listed in our directory does not mean a company endorses, sponsors, or is affiliated with SkillAIVibe — as our disclaimer spells out.

Reporting a copyright concern

SkillAIVibe does not publish user-uploaded content. If you believe something we publish or distribute infringes your copyright, please report the specific material so we can investigate and address a valid concern.

Please send a message through the Contact page, or write directly to contact@skillaivibe.com, including:

• The exact URL of the page you are concerned about.
• Identification of the work you believe was copied, with a link to the original if there is one.
• Your name and a way to reach you, and your relationship to the work (owner, or authorized to act for the owner).
• A brief statement of why you believe the use is not authorized.

We will acknowledge a report as soon as we read it and tell you what we are doing about it. Where the concern is valid, we will remove or rewrite the material rather than argue with a legitimate complaint to save face — the whole site is built on the claim that our content is original, and anything that is not does not belong here. If we think a passage is genuinely our own work, we will explain why instead of going quiet.

Copyright concerns currently go directly to the contact address above. This page does not assert a statutory safe-harbor status or limit any legal route you would otherwise have.

If you think someone copied us

If you come across our content republished somewhere it should not be, we would appreciate a heads-up through the Contact page. A link to the copy and a note of which page it came from is all we need to look into it.
